This game is sick! In a positive way!
This game is probably going to be a really good series. As long you have ideas for it, this game will become the best of the Megaman X games! The controls are flawless, the sound is good, not to mention you can choose where to go and what to do, that sometimes makes you think twice of choosing your story.
Anyway, here's a short review of this game.
Graphics: 9/10
I gave this a 9 because of some " blurred graphics" but not sprite mixing, I don't understand why people hate sprite mixing, because I'm just OK about it.
Sound: 10/10
Really good choice of sounds. All hail the sound portal!!!
Story: 10/10
Follows the stories after Megaman X8 on the PS2. And even mentions past events at one part or some that occured from the past Megaman X games!
Replay: 10/10
This is the fun part. You have 3 empty save slots. And the game makes you choose your story, (where to go, what to do, etc.) so you can replay the game and see what happens if you do this instead of that etc. Not to mention there are Quests and even Hidden Bosses!
Gameplay: 10/10
At first, you might think the gameplay is just like your everyday RPG. Well think again, because this, my friend, is way DIFFERENT! There are supporting people and upgrades, even battle chips that enable you to use skills, but just buying the chips doesn't enable you to instantly use the attack, you have to equip them and upgrade them. You can also fuse 2 chips to make a great chip!
Overall: 10/10
This game can make it to the consoles! Well maybe not the consoles, maybe this game will get a lot positive reviews. Please make a sequel, and after that, a remake of the whole series would be really cool! Just don't forget your everyday life!
absolutely amazing
branching this out of Chapter 0, it's incredible how much more extensive it is. i'll admit, i'm not too overjoyed about the glitches (and really, who does like them?) but the game is astounding to play. the added elements of RPG games into Megaman characters and styles gives this game a name. 10 stars and 5 rating are all deserved.
huge consequences ride upon the final decision at the end too. who should you save, Zero, or the townspeople? i almost couldn't choose!
