Reviews for "Drop the Bomb (Medals)"

Question is wrong.

There was an Xbox 360 question that asked "How many buttons are on an Xbox 360 Controller?" I put 13: RT,LT,RB,LB,X,Y,A,B,Start,Select,Guid e,L3,R3. Apparently I was wrong? It showed 11. Fail? Anyway, kept me entertained for a while. Wasted a significant amount of time trying to win, then I did and failed in the bonus round. But meh. Was a fun trip.

yes

I didn't find this ridiculously hard...

I mean, it's not easy, but it's probably no harder than Jeopardy. It's about standard. I think the problem that the game is running into has to do with target audience. Most Newgrounders, I've read, are in the 13-17 age range and a lot of these questions, particularly the lit and pop culture questions, are not things that they have much reason to know yet. On the other hand, I think reviews like the one that say 'you almost have to read a dictionary before you play this' reflect a really unusual level of tardation so.....there's that too. I failed the game several times, but I beat it several times too, and I don't know that much, so it can't be all that hard.
In any case, it's definitely well put together, and it's not, as far as I know, a clone of any existing quiz games. I think it has potential as an upgraded modern version of Jeopardy, although you might have to work out some way to make the game last longer and be multiplayer in order to make it work for tv. That's all I have to say about that.

Eh, pretty good.

Geological north pole is attracted to magnetic south pole? Aren't they the same thing?

Otherwise, good game, but could have been faster paced.

UK player rather likes it

I'm not from the US, but there are many questions in here that cater for people like me. I managed to win it a few times, so...yeah. Nice idea for a game (like that show Spin Star over here), executed very well, and the questions have more than enough variety to keep it from going stale prematurely. I could see this getting special versions.
