quite plain and simply, fucking love your stuff man, and i love you too, its a cool lil bouncer mate, i love the tom/snare rhythm, the arrangement's cool as well, nothing stays in too long or too short just the right balance. im curious as to where your scratchings gone on it tho lol i think it may have work, but the beat layerings cool, how many you got running there? is it two or three?

anyhows, got my download the other day i forgot to review, you also get a fifen innit.

Gah I listened to the snare and just realised there´s a eq-clash at 1/8 of the snare hits. bollox.
There were supposed to be skratching on here, but it just didn´t fit.
I attempted a cool techniques using my CDX+Mixer that turned out to be not so cool for this song (i´ll use that super-secret skratch-recording technique on some other song :). I also found out that there really was no room for skratching, it just idn´t sound right, so I skipped that this time. Next song will be more sample-based, cut n slice+skratching. I hope. :)

The beat is layered, I think there are 2 kicks, eq to go fine with the subbass (but the subbass kinda fukced up, and i couldnt fix it) 2 snares, one hihat, 2 tambourine samples, three for the bongo-thingy... uuuh, probably something more, I cant remember. But I dont think I layered anything more than twise, to be honest. Loads of EQ on the beat to make every sample clear in the mix.

Well this song has some DnB elements in there, it probably belongs metter in the DnB section than misc, but aahh whatever.
There will however be more songs like "I Switch It On" coming up, uh, one day or another :)

What can I say... Haven't visited in this place in awhile. I heard that you are starting to make music in the "scratch" realm... Very unique idea, can't really be honest to say I have heard music from that realm before.

I REALLY liked that woman doing the chant'ish "aaaah". Very quick and pleasent to hear. The melody is definetly awkward, it's very cool sounding, and I hope this song has the lieks to se Top 5 this week also, with Zenon's remix of Unleash the Chains (:D) and Extracy's Hills and Wolves. It's definetly an addictive song, and DESERVES to see Top 5. That said, I will get my friends and homeboys to give this song a fifen and possibly review it. It's more diverse then any other song on here. With the acception of a few!

I must say. It actually picks up and gets a lot better in the last remaining parts. It has a certain flare to ti that I like. I might be able to see this being nominated in the Misc. Song of the Year of '06 :P. I will write this down as one to look for when those Awards come around.

Well, i wouldnt say that skratching is anything unique, but it all depends how you do it, I guess. This song was supposed to be filled up with skratches, but it just didn´t fit...
There is no spoo... I mean woman, that´s just a SubTractor synth I creatad ;)

Weekly top 5 I really don´t care bout... But once u get there it´s good attention :/

U The Man!

This is quality music Rucklo style. It's individual and unique. I listen to alot of electronica, and there's nothing out there that sounds like this. I give it 9/10 because i think there's room for improvement, but that's true of all songs. This deserves to be in the weekly top 5, though i imagine it will be voted down as per usual. I highly recommend this trk, it's catchy, fun, interesting and above all, your own style.

Thanx for the feedback on this song, it took me a while making it, but man... I really should have waited a week or two giving it a rest... Soooo many things I´d wanna change... plus I noticed that the sound level, allthough some time spent on the mastering, could be a couple of db higher without any dynamics getting ruined. Bah. If anyone+s interested in getting a better version, pop me an e-mail :)
