Since 2010 Dei-Sama has disappeared off the face of the internet. Their Youtube channel, DeviantArt and Newgrounds account all the same. They did move to an alternate DeviantArt account for a time but that account was deactivated. One of the last journals they submitted on the deleted account was about them going through a state of depression.
I like to be optimistic but it's always been an occasional thought that the worst might have happened, and it's defeating to imagine that someone who took the time to create a simple joy for us might not be seen again. I hope that sometime we'll hear from them again.
