Reviews for "Ultimate Assassin 2"

It was fun while it lasted...

Great game. There were a few things I found that you could have done. Firstly, the guards. I found that the guards in this game were overpowered (they had guns and I only had a knife to work with) and you can only kill the green guy and not the guards. I found plenty of opportunities where I wanted to kill the guard but can`t.

That was probably my biggest peeve about this game. Other than that, it was pretty good.

Neat concept

The concept is very good, but the flaws really stand out.

- If I have killed my target, I should be able to escape no matter what. Just because the guards are aware of the death isn't a valid reason to not let me escape.

- I know being able to kill the guards might make it a little easier, but there will also be more dead bodies. This means that other guards can enter alarm mode. How about you set it to where if too many dead bodies turn up the target is extracted from the area or some other consequence to balance out the game?

Who put drugs in the guards coffee?

To complete this game you need 2 parts skill and 369 parts luck!

What could you have done better... well:
The movements of the guards/victim are so random and unpredictable you can't form a plan of attack, you just have to wing it and hope.

Who brings a knife to a gun fight? Only the clinicaly suicidal. Even then you cant use the damn thing to kill the guards, why is that? If it's that you trying not to cause alarm, well that doesnt hold water becuase no matter what you do, they're gona be pretty damned alarmed.

Speaking of alarmed, why the heck are all the guards so edgy? the instant they get a slight glimps of you they're shooting their guns, and running around like lunatics. It's a wonder that the guards havent all killed each other off, becuase there's no way they could tell who their shooting at in the non existant amount of time between seeing you and putting 300 bullets in your hide.

So you got by all the twitchy randomly wandering guards and have finally killed the victim, now you must wait an arbitray amount of time - which is suspended if the guards get alarmed, and boy will they! - before the exit apears in a random location. Which, ofcourse, you cant use whilst the guards are alarmed >.>

And what is the reward for sitting through all 18 levels of this? a message saying "You've completed tha game! Thanks for playing!"... yeah... nice. -_-

Is this original gameplay?

I enjoy the game up until the guards seem to flicker between being psychic and vapid retardeds.
What I mean by this is if you are seen in a hallway suddenly all of the guards know to turn around and where to fire, yet when you run and turn a corner they "durr hurr dumpty dum." in fucking circles.

This is an excellent game, with SHIT for A.I. (by shit I mean moderately flawed)
Could I do any better? No.
But I believe that Erman Haskan can.

Allow key customization...

...or change the default setting. Not everyone is using a QWERTY keyboard, you know, many have a QWERTZ setting.
