Reviews for "Ultimate Assassin 2"

It's a luck game.

It's a neat concept, really... but there's no pattern. It isn't about skill.

It's about hoping that the random-walking-around AI decides to make the target wander in a clear spot, hoping you can hit it, and then hide till the hole appears.

Why can't I study my target's pattern to learn that he goes to a certain spot, relatively alone, every 30 (game) seconds? Or how about the guard patterns? Why don't they have regular patrols.

You have to be lucky for the AI seed to make them wander in a position that works for you, and hope they stay in that lucky position long enough for the mission to end. An assassin is one who knows where his target will be and how to get there before anyone sees it.

Too much luck, really brings it down. Neat concept, bad execution.

In real life, people don't have moving patterns.

Allow key customization...

...or change the default setting. Not everyone is using a QWERTY keyboard, you know, many have a QWERTZ setting.

Is this original gameplay?

I enjoy the game up until the guards seem to flicker between being psychic and vapid retardeds.
What I mean by this is if you are seen in a hallway suddenly all of the guards know to turn around and where to fire, yet when you run and turn a corner they "durr hurr dumpty dum." in fucking circles.

This is an excellent game, with SHIT for A.I. (by shit I mean moderately flawed)
Could I do any better? No.
But I believe that Erman Haskan can.

Good, but frustrating

I found this game fun enough at first, but soon you were dropped in the most dangerous areas with NO hiding. The random feeling was nice, but it was extremly frustrating when a guard would just turn around for no reason and spot you. Another problem was that sometimes, a guards field of vision would turn around and just a sliver would catch you, and every guard on the level would shoot. You say calm, but when you can't find any hiding anywhere, it gets annoying.

good!

It's a nice game, the levels don't get to hard to fast, so thats nice.
But like more before me say/said, a bit of variation in invironment. Public area's, like a park of some kind, a airport lobby.. something more exiting then a boring gray and wood warehouse....
And being able to kill the guards adds more realism.
Also, if it is possible to do, make the guards track down the bloodprints. You have them in the game, so why not make them usefull ;-) This gives it a bit more challenge, guards on your @ss when you go around the corner instead of them just turning around and go the other way... (now you just hide in a dark corner, bloodprints CLEARLY lead that way, but they just don't follow it :-| )
