Reviews for "Old Mill Pond"

Pretty funny.

I liked how you added more to the jokes, like when he used his DICK to spin the ball.

I also like the realistic style of people you drew.

its the perfect comedian's cartoon

Good plug

Well it's certainly funny but I can't give you any credit for that can I?

It's a nice idea to do up a story from a stand up. And your animation is really really good. The problem with animating to stories like these is you got to deal with the pauses in the story. There were some points in the flash where he wasn't talking and nothing was happening. I know it's difficult because you really want to just animate the story being told, but that's what you've got to deal with - the pauses. You've got to insert some stuff in there just to make the movie, well a movie instead of a just an animated speech.

I suggest you keep attempting this. This could start a whole new trend. Work on animating according to the pace of the story and see what you can do to avoid the awkward pauses. All it needs is that little something to sort of hold it together.

Animation wise, it's really good. A good choice of content as well. Try and touch it up to make it a seamless transition. It's a challenge to make the movie look like the story was being told within it and not from the outside. I'm not sure if I'm coming across correctly here but you need to try and make it seem as if the story is coming from your flash movie. We all know it's material from a different audio source, but that's where your challenge is - to make it seamless.

Good job and good luck with future adaptations. I hope you do more.

I'd rate higher

But really it wasn't your material. It was well animated and synched up with the comedian pretty well. Reminds me of "Shorties watching shorties" basically.
