Good attempt at transgression but it is forgetable
Transgression is the art of pushing limits such as offending as many people as possible while entertaining them at the same time.
a memorable work that deploys transgression is remembered not only because it was offensive but because it's craftsmenship is tasteful or distasteful along with it's distasteful subject matter and imagery.
Works of transgression are held to a higher standard of quality to everything else because it is purely offensive.
when people are offended there judgment of the actual quality is clouded due to the emotional response it provokes.
In this case the emotional responses would be anger, laughter or confused.
how are we to know the little girl on the treadmill is supposed to be tyson's daughter?
It's basically a very bad game parody that was so bad that it was no longer a parody but rather a reference to tyson's punch out.
If i had seen the news story first i might have laughed or at least get it but because you assumed i read the news story it left me confused.
With the news story it made the cartoon actually almost funny in my opinion rather than just weird because in actuality it is a spoof of a tragic event.
It still lacked some real punch to it such as making a long movie about the death of tyson's daughter.
You could have even made her appear to deserve her death such as making her an unlikeable character.
anything at all that makes it clear without the help of looking into the news story that you are joking about the death of someones kid.
Never mind the media attention this will get just work on including information about the event itself into your narrative or even including a link to the news story itself and as for the humor itself it needs more venom to it.
