Quality!
This was fun. I actually don't usually care for sports games, but that was a fun experience. The controls are fluid, your team mates are actually intelligent, you opponents are also intelligent and right at the point that makes them challenging without being unfair, and each match, while all very similar on a basic level, never played out the same way twice, so they didn't get old any time soon.
I loved the training camp aspect. Being able to train your team to become stronger and more effective while still having a lot of the game rely on the skill of the player mixed the RPG and action formulas together in a really excellent and intuitive way. The added bonus of being able to cheat alongside training and equipmment was pretty amusing, too.
All in all, I had a lot of fun with this game. You may not like it if you're not into the sports thing, but how can you go wrong with a game that allows you to name your team something like "Velociraptor Fist"?
