Reviews for "Gray"

TRULY BRILLIANT!

This is really....something DIFFERENT, well done!

I agree with linguistman

I was going to write pretty much the same thing as linguistman, but he said it all and we wouldn't want to be to repetitive now would we ;). I got the exact same message. Very good game

Interesting

I don`t know what exactly you were trying to say but i love it!

I think i get it...

My interpretation of Gray is that people have a tendency to become more and more polarized, and eventually no one listens to the person in the middle.

Am I right???

Anyways it was a cool game.

My interpretation

I think that you feel that the riot going on is for the wrong cause. So, you try influence them to join the other side. At first, it only takes a few words to make them go "Oh no! I'm on the wrong side". Then, when you convert all of them to your color, YOU say "Oh no!" and go on the other side. Now, it takes you longer to convince them but, you convince fewer people than before to join your cause. It goes back and forth until finally you are in the middle and have no cause. You can't convince anyone because you have nothing to convince them of. You are then overwhelmed by a sea of white and black people.

From what I can gather, maybe this has something to do with mob psychology? You need to convince more people with less conviction to turn the mob, and only need to convince a few people yet with strong beliefs to turn a mob around. Then, if you have no belief or conviction, you can't make anyone change their mind.

Another way of looking at it is you play a person who can't make up their mind. You join one side, then another, until eventually, people don't want to listen to what you have to say like the boy who cried wolf.

This situation is not black and white. It's very much in the gray area. 10/10
