I would make the arrow keys an option and then make normal mouse + wasd controls, but other than that, you have a good game here!

Phenomenal originality
Wow... its been awhile since I played a game worthy of spending some time on it! Im not going to go into details here: Perfect control (as in, suited for the game), great graphics, amazing sounds! Especially the laser targeting adjusting sounds! lovely! Enemy variation and challenge is progressively implemented and perfect in my opinion. You could spice things up with this idea... check it out. Power-ups: 1st Ability of laser to burn everything, al the way from the tip of the tower, till the red dot :P 2nd. Lasting effect of a burning trail of the laser 3rd.Ability to use the mouse for 10 seconds and zap the heck outa everything! Ur call bro... u can make this game epic
