It was certainly interesting seeing all the things within the flash that made Pico paranoid that something was going on and with some of the things that happened you couldn't really blame him for thinking people were out to get him. Perhaps you could have had a few more things going on though, especially since he took such an extreme course of action at the end of the flash. Had you done a little more it would have made his actions seem more justified and created more of a shock factor when what was really happening was revealed. Perhaps this is something you were planning on doing originally though, since I see from your author's comments that you didn't have enough time.
I liked the fact that you had Pico playing a role in the NG office, with him deciding what would be placed on the front page of the website. I was expecting him to dismiss the flash he placed there, but either way worked as a nice little joke.
What was a little interesting was the lack of sound effects during the scene with the grenade and gun at the end. But due to a good choice in music you managed to make them not necessary.
