Reviews for "Game & Watch: God of War"

Classic G&W but still not entertaining

Graphic: 3/10
Story: X/10
Gameplay: 3/10
Humor: X/10
Sound: 2/10

Overall: 4

I understand that this is supposed to be a classic G&W game, but still, the both modes are exactly the same, only difficulty is different. The gameplay is boring. Also without hotkeys it's annoying to use mouse to move, when the buttons aren't close to each other in the screen. The game is not entertaining, it get's boring after 30+ seconds.

Holmfry responds:

Actually, if you read the instructions, you'll see that you can use the arrow keys to control the game.. it makes it a LOT easier.

As for your other points, it is what it is.. classic game & watch. This is how handhelds were back then so that's what I created :)

Glitchy yeah?

Really glitchy.

Super repetitive.

Nice idea, but horrible follow through.

Holmfry responds:

Really glitchy? That's not really helpful without being more specific. I'm only aware of one glitch as discussed in an earlier comment.

What exactly is horrible about my follow through? You need to be more constructive.

No Thanks

I understand the nostalgic charm believe me, and its well done, its just not fun....

to easy

Lets start here no cheesy sounds , rusty controls , and to easy . Yeah sure your Kratos but thats just not right Kratos is in awesome games not some game that looks like it came from mcdonalds . replay value-moderately low

Holmfry responds:

If you can find a classic Nintendo Game & Watch at McDonald's, I'll buy it off you for 10 bucks! ;)

The historical relevance is not lost on me,

but it's still not legitimately fun. Nevertheless, it certainly looks cool, and is a cool concept. But, having played an actual Game & Watch, I can say from experience that they are not fun for people born after 1980 or so.
