That took some real skill...

No, not really I was pulling you leg :)
So decided to take the time to not make your own characters and steal other artist's art and animations (AKA Sprites). Now you think to yourself "What's a good premise for an animation?" and for some reason you think of a race, A RACE. Why a race? Races are by far the most boring things to watch in the world. You weren't going to stop there were you? You decided to have a choppy FPS and make your sprites chop between animations, even on the run cycles they chopped occasionally. And just to make it as bad as possible you picked the most used characters of all time; Sonic and Mario.
Well where does that leave you at? 0/10, that's where.

Why don't you go do something original?

Nice choice of music! I love how smooth the animation was. Also, that was a great idea, looking forward to the others.

Sigh...

Idea had potentiel, but you need to up the speed/framerate. It was simply slow and I couldn't get into it very much. Also, that gimmick at the end with the credits, has given me a lame excuse to lower your score. KEKEKEKEKEKEKE!

Seriously though: More speed, more action, more racers, more landscapes, and better use of type-talk (You used speech bubbles, but some people like it better when you put what they're saying at the bottem/top with a picture of the talkers character by it's face).

Animation: 8/10 (Sprites looked nice and clean)
Action: 2/10 (I'm tempted to put a 0!)
Comedy: 0/10 (I didn't get your single joke)

Overall: 3/10

dont put extra clips behind the credits next time, no one cares about credits and its just going to piss people off and give them a lame excuse to give you a lower rating. good vid, maybe add more effects for when mario bounces of walls and jumping, to make it look like more speed.

how it focuses in and out on mario and sonic, thats about it. :D
