Reviews for "Red Moon"

nice

really nice game, simple controls, very visually appealing. i paused the game for a couple minutes, switched to a different tab in firefox, and came back to the game, and i was unable to unpause it. it just stayed on an advertisement for maple story. it really bummed be out. i was probably about 7-8 levels into the game and really wanted to keep playing. i probably won't go back to play it since i don't want to start from the beginning again.

An alright game.

The thing I'm not too fond of in this game is the way the character moves, the attacking and the jumping feel too floaty, because of this it's very easy to accidently fall off the edge and die.

Other than that it's an alright game but I only really played it because of the medals.

This game is extremely difficult on bad computers

Nonetheless, I've noticed more or less the same glitches as others have mentioned. There's actually one major glitch I found. I didn't try doing it twice, for fear of not collecting all the orbs. The room where you get on a bridge, and it collapses is the room I'm mentioning. If you double jump over it, you can instantly teleport (glitch-style) to the left, then walk into the portal to the right.

The music is addicting. I had the dilemma of deciding on whether giving my computer more RAM by turning off the music, or get the adrenaline pumping with it on.

The artwork is always something I enjoy seeing from you. It's hard not to play favorites when yours has a beautiful fluidity, not just in character design, but in character movement.

The voice acting was almost perfect. I only have one qualm, and it's when Hawkin was shouting out "Shit!" I'm only complaining because at that moment, I thought I was hearing things. When you don't have any voices in a long while, it kind of jumps out of nowhere.

I think one somewhat glitch thing that works to the advantage of the player is just nailing the enemy into the wall. This works wonders with the king.

I haven't been keeping up with your Armed With Wings games too well, but when I fought the king, I first thought, "Oh shit, I gotta fight THAT overpowered guy?!", then I went, "Oh right . . . he's stuck in a pre-programmed pattern, hehe."

I have to say, I don't think I'd be able to play through this game without the medals, but then again, the medals also force you to collect orbs and fight enemies. I love your games in general, but this has to be the hardest my computer has struggled, as well as the most pitfalls I've seen you put in.

I just want to ask a few things:

Why does the king only use that lightning sword/special attack? (I'm not considering that energy ball "special", of course)

Why is the king not using his overpowered swords?

How did Hawkin "teleport" to Eivana in the end?

This has been one great game. The addition of medals has really spiced your series up, but that deity medal is going to kill most of us. I hope there's no glitches on that medal either.

Overall, outstanding work! ^.^

Excellent

It is my pleasure to say, that this is my first review on NG, and I'm proud that this is the first thing I've reviewed, the story the art and the voices were just superb, one of the best games I've played here It was a beautiful and well executed piece of epicly done work, I thank you for letting me revel in this games greatness and I am anticipating the next game, assuming there will be one.

Not bad

A shame that the controls let the game down for me - you've got a great plot and some well defined characters within, but for me, the whole development of the controls seems to be a little jerky and there's some lag with the responses if you're trying to pull off some combos, so there's something for you to work on.

Still, the graphics are great and I particularly like it when you kill something and they disintegrate into smoke - have you been watching Movies like Blade for your inspiration at all? I think that you can certainly take this further and I look forward to your future submissions.
