Reviews for "TREBL"

lol

Im Vae Victus from TREBL 2.

This game is too simple now, especially after TREBL 2.

And about TREBL2, everybody complains about AUDIO sync, this is the programs or anything else's fault, it the computer and its internet speed I think. Because it never happened to me. No lag, no delays.. Never!

And another thing is, Trebl is way better than the most other rythm games, at least its hard and takes actual effort and time to master it, so +10, respect!
I login everyday to give TREBL2 and TREBL +5, cuz it really addicts and deserves it.

I still cant wait for TREBL3, I hope u got enough support for the development of it.

BTW; Asian Dream rocks! lol XD

bigdumbgames responds:

Howdy! Glad you stopped by!

There's definitely an issue with syncing (in both TREBL1 and TREBL2), for users who are running the game at a low FPS. The syncing issue is actually a graphics-only issue: if you just close your eyes and play along with the music, the timing should still be correct. Unfortunately, the way the notes fall is heavily FPS-reliant, so on slower computers, they appear to fall way behind the music.

Either way, I've completely revamped the gameplay engine for TREBL 3, and both the graphics and audio sync will be significantly more accurate at abnormally high and abnormally low framerates. :D

Development on TREBL3 is still going strong! I've been doing a lot of freelance work to help pay the bills, but I'm hoping that this next game gets big enough to help put a little food on the table, I'd really love to spend more time working on my own projects than freelancing for others. :P

And you're totally right about Asian Dream: it's one of my absolute favorites, right up there with L'Andurina. So epic, so progressive. I've found a lot more music like it for TREBL 3, and I can't wait til it's ready to play!

nice!

i love this game =D i find it challenging and fullfilling when i happen to get a long streak of notes right. kinda seems like playing a piano - how u have to useboth hands with different string of notes, i think it would be good practice for that!

ummm

sorry but this does not work a little help? still 10/10 i dony know why but i lkie it.

Nice

Great game loved it did run into a problem on the NES song where it would not respond to the keys causeing me to lose alot of notes but other wise keep up the good work

bigdumbgames responds:

Glad you enjoyed it!

One of the biggest things I'm looking to improve in the sequel is performance. There's a lot going on for Flash to handle, but I'm sure I can make some changes to get things running more smoothly!

Little problem

The game played great, until the end of the song. When I tried to press the Okay button; it didn't do anything. I use a Macbook and Safari so that may have something to do with it. Any info would be appreciated.

bigdumbgames responds:

Hmmm, that is unusual, and is probably related to the MochiMedia scoring system I'm using. I'll be sure to take a look and run some tests on a friend's Macbook to see if that's related, too.
