I loved her voice over. It was slightly disturbing hearing small interupetions/crackle in the speeches. It add the the effect of " I need to get the fuck out of here! " which is really great in an "Escape the castle"
types of games.
I too got stuck on the 3rd chamber. There were no hints nor help to suggest where to go or what to do in that area. It was very frustrating.
I also believe there should have been better animation for the pit fall death scene. Just a stick figure? Come on at least animate a guy in a lab coat or something! The whole stick figure thing shows the game is still lacking.
As well as alot of the rooms look the same, so if your not paying too much attention you "could" get lost. And I hyphinate could meaning its a very small possibility, But i still managed to get stuck for about a minute due to this.
And do not listen to JO31 at all. Portal DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A FREAKING PLOT! The game was completely random! It was just a game made to go along in the orange box, meant for pure fun, and hardly any storyline to it what-so-ever, most of the crap on that game is just random. And here I have to refer to the grand daddy of all meme's " The cake is a lie " Does that sound like they took there sweet time to come up with a indulging story line? JO31 you have no concept on what is good and what is bad. I bet you didn't even play through the game longer than 2 minutes....
Ok., The game is OK. Not too bad, but not great. Jusat work a little on the animation, give a little more " subtle " hints. Like instead of showing 23 is number 1 have a note lying on the floor for you to pick up and help you figure this maze out. Along with animating the pit fall scene a little bit better. I mean hey its better than no animation what-so-ever, but it could be better. Give a little more deffinition to the MAIN CHARACTER is all I aSK. Little stuff like that can go a long way.
