Good, but needs adjusting
As a defense game it has one of the best presentations I've seen and it has a lot of potential. I recommend that you scale the difficulty better though because it seems like enemies take a lot of damage and you can't upgrade your defense fast enough to keep up.
Not that good.
I like the game, but it was not orginal.
The design was neat and the same with the sound.
Graphics was OK, but the 3D was pretty good.
OK to play for 10-20 minutes.
Frontline Defense?
Well ive played Frontline Defence for about an hour now and i feel im ready to review this game. Its a fairly simple tower defence game.
The graphics are smooth and easy to enjoy. The sounds are crisp, from the bullets of the rifle tower to the cha-chink of the shotgun towers. A little music would have gone a long way in this game though as it has none.
Gameplay is extreamly difficult with a horrible learning curve. Enemies quickly go from 65hp and easy to take out to 350hp and almost impossible to kill in a matter of a couple waves. Money is also very hard to come by in this game as each kill will only net you a tiny little bit.
Upgrades dont seem to really help your towers damage or fire rate, but it does add a bit of range which can help.
In closing this game is FAR to difficult to be enjoyable, and i would recommend spending your time on one of the many other more enjoyable selections out there.
