Good stuff! You kept to the original piece while also mixing in your own flavor very well. The techno aspect and beat are a nice touch, especially when that was the main focus while having the "soft part" of the piece (1:40 - 2:00) added in as filler.

Im writing this as I'm listening, so I'll just write whatever comes to mind. I haven't heard the original though, and I'm too lazy to listen to it first.

I love how it gets really loud at about 0:14. Totally caught me off guard. Plenty of variety in the rhythm and sounds, good job on that. It builds and intensifies nicely without getting totally crazy. I've seen some songs where they just keep layering on sounds until you can't make anything out. Nice ending as well.
