Certainly a great birthday card
I thought that was pretty darn funny. The idea was great, and most of the jokes got a laugh out of me; however, I would have to say I laughed more at the jokes that only a personified candle could say. For instance, it was entertaining to hear the candles question if they should negotiate with the people or that "they'll never take me alive" (mainly because it's a candle speaking instead of a human, as you'd normally expect it to be), but it was hilarious to hear their reactions to being blown out since you just can't get those kinds of jokes with human characters. You can tweak the jokes to fit human characters, but they just wouldn't be as good as with the candles.
