Hard, fun, but where's the save feature?
I really liked *everything* (well, almost) about this game. It was actually challenging in the most decent sense of the word, which is a rarity for Flash games. Some missions are so freaking hard, I nearly tore my mouse from its socket, but I kept on going. I fell in love with your voice-overs, jiggled my hips to the quirky soundtrack and flipped a digit at your motivational insults.
Until, that is, I had wasted a very decent amount of time on your game, and decided to come back later to finish the job. Which I did. So I wait through the overly-long loading bit, click on "play other missions," and am confronted with... Nothing! Zip, nada, zilch, zero! No high scores, no recognition that I've finished even one of the previous missions, never mind halfway through the infuriating world three!
And so I sighed, and thought, "There's no way I can play for that long continuously, no matter how good that ending animation is." So I now, formally, give up. I just don't have three hours to spend playing a game that doesn't remember my name, no matter how fun it is and how much I want to see what you've done in that nasty, nasty final level.
And that's why you got a seven instead of a nine. This was a brilliant game, but please, next time you make a game this hard and this long, provide an "autosave". It's common enough that people expect it, and not having it is both disorienting and disappointing--a sad, deflating finish to such a delectable offering, rather like eating a gorgeous main course to find that you don't have room to finish the plate, never mind dessert.
