Reviews for "Mighty Red Orb"

Great game more of that first level song

Yeah great game very challenging in a good way although I really really want to know the name of that song on the first level seriously the song with all the bass I could listen to that song for an eternity even when I was losing really bad I wasn't even getting mad because I was to busy rocking out to that song in my opinion that song should play on every level I ended up going back only to levels that had that song and playing them over and over again the one complaint I could make is that the difficulty ramps up pretty quickly it goes from "hey this is bearable" to "OMG I can't sit down because the game raped me so hard" and it does that within a period of about 3 levels so yeah but other than that AWESOME!

Okay

I've seen alot of these games and this is one of the hardest. As if the level design isn't difficult enough, you add a time limit that requires perfect navigation of the levels. Still it's a fun game with great sound effects, albeit a bit hard.

wowo

wow can we have a training zone

Neat

Cool idea - i like the puzzle feel rather than just a navigation game.

Medium

Navigating through these corridors is quite difficult with only 4 keys to control your direction. It makes you have to press Up, Right, Up, Right, Up, Right a lot for example all the time, which makes it frustrating and annoying. Collecting the little things doesn't do anything interesting either, the thing that makes you faster is annoying and the thing that makes you slower is annoying too, basically it's like a mouse avoider but with the keyboard. Controlling the thing with the mouse would be a lot better maybe, and shooting with the mouse would still be possible by clicking.

RatherRandomReality responds:

Instead of pressing Up, Right, Up, Right, Up, Right a lot have you tried pressing Up+Right at the same time? How about that as a concept? It gives you 4 more directions to go- diagonals! Anyway, thanks for reviewing, mouse control is not a bad idea.
