Got a friend going through something similar.
This kinda sums up how my friend and his sister react to their cigarette addicted father.
As for the movie itself, could of used more detail to the graphics and maybe a background (but I guess the never ending purple fits). However the coloring, choice of scenery and music, fitted the movie very well.

The neverending purple was on purpose to add to the idea of a polluted world (representing second-hand smoke).

I'll give you a passing vote simply because it's a good idea to quit\stop\not smoke, but as a smoker myself it helps keep me sane, but I am planning on quitting, good flash and I do plan on quitting sometime soon hopefully myself, and I also got my parents to quit as well :D, 3 years of constant harassment worked.

While the animation itself needed work, I could tell you were trying hard to animate it. The music you choose also fit very nicely into the movie.
But the important thing is the message you were trying to pass, which has led me to believe this was made uniquely for your father, right? Or maybe someone's father?
Or did you randomly choose to write "Daddy" at the end? Anyway, next time you make a video, try to make the animations more fluid. For instance, look at someone running in real life, and try to copy that into the Flash. Search for human pics and study anatomy by yourself. Those are small things that would greatly improve any Flash videos.

If I threw a bucket of water on my dad I'd get beaten with a wooden cane.
It was the message that is important, not how the message gets across.
Also, it was a hyperbole of how to get the message across, saying that the only way to get his attention was a splash of water (a metaphor for reason.)
