Reviews for "Brawler Whirled"

Dull and repetitive...

Very very repetitive and pretty boring... I hate that when you get the third of an item, if you accidentaly hit a first you get changed to that... I didn't play very far past the mace guys so I could be wrong, but you didn't even let us pick up the giant mace? Poor form, whirled...Poor form.

Yep, I put 4

I gave you the 4 for the concept of the game and ONLY the concept. It needs serious work on the layout and reaction to keys. You couldn't have put more glitches into it than there already are. I told toon to do something and.. guess what? they wouldn't. Very frustrating, did not enjoy feeling like I needed to pull my hair out.

Just not my style.

The game idea is ok, just not my style. No plot, repetitive game play, and dying really doesn't have a consiquence. You could just run into a giant croud of people spamming the d button, so what if you die, you just lose your weapon (which usually isn't that great anyway unless you have the hammer) and have to wait 5 seconds. So unless you're extremely impatient and have anger problems, dying has no real consiquence. If you're into button mashing arcade fighting games like teaken 5, than i would strongly reccomend this game, it's just not my style.

While this has the potential to be a good game I find that the movement is awkward and difficult to use. While on most games this would not be such a major problem, it is here; I suggest giving gamers the option to choose to use either the mouse or the d-pad. As it is now I give it a 2/5.

Proof that graphics don't make the game.

Yeah, so the game looks good but that's about it. No music at all, the multiplayer lags pretty badly once more than two enemies come at a time, combat is dull and basically the only true strategy is to mash weak attack over and over again until you slay god knows how many wolves. I say that because I gave up after killing some 30 or so and still being in the first area of the game. What is the point of this game?

I know it's a beta, so some allowance can be made, but this just isn't worth playing. There are way better hack-n-slash games out here. Maybe if I see more than one enemy type and a little more in-depth combat system I'll change my mind but this was an awful beta.
