Good, but a tad offensive.
You need to keep the crowd having fun. It is hard to do that when you lose a life just for passing a level. I like how you took an idea and remake into a different theme. I gave you an 8 because of what you did in creating a game was very good... minus the lose a life per level gain.
I'm sorry to hear about your sister, but don't you think you should make something a little less offensive and a little more beautiful in her honor? Bless you for your effort making a something for a loved one anyway though.
