Reviews for "[Lavender Town Haunting]*"

this kicks ass

Solkrieg responds:

Lol thanks.

I like it, super creepy, I loved the beginning.

Solkrieg responds:

Thanks :D

Simply amazing, nothing more to say. Â I remember always trying to get away from that area as quickly as possible when I first played Red back in the first grade - always gave me the creeps (wouldn't bother me now, though).

Although at some sections it has a more upbeat feel to it like the GSC version rather than the creepy RBY(G) one.

Solkrieg responds:

I tried as hard as possible to keep the creepy theme in this song (if you couldn't tell XD). The other one was more creepy mostly because it's simply the original. The sounds they use go directly back to your childhood and haunt you.

Let's make it clear : I don't like dubstep. In fact, that's what I thought before listening this. It's a perfect mix between symphonical music and electronic sounds, and I found this awesome. Those music box sounds, accompanied with the "lyrics" (are those real words ? If yes, what does they mean ?) is genius, and even the dubstep part, that I dreaded, made finally a fantastic constrast with the symphonic part. Congratz !

(P.S. : English is not my first language, I apologize for any mistake/mispelling)

Solkrieg responds:

No problem, I understood exactly what you're trying to say :P. Thanks for the review, the words they're saying are Japanese and were used from a youtube video someone made with Vocaloid. Thanks again!

Wow! I heard one of your remixes a while back, and I loved it. This is not much different, except for the way you did the whole intro was insanely calm and cool. the one I heard sounded like a ticking clock. I like the strings you added.
I wouldn't say creepy so much as fast paced intense. Idk though.
really cool and epic work.

Solkrieg responds:

I think you heard my second dubstep remix of this song. Thanks for the review!
