Has anyone beaten this game?!?
Holy cow it's hard. All the flaws have been brought up in the previous reviews so I just want to say this game has potential but it's unbeatable.
Pretty good
I personally liked it, the throttle thing was off a bit...
Maybe having an adjustable level, so that you didnt have to hold the button for so long... I didn't like how space bar kept changing depending on context.
With the Stalling, yeah it was a bit of an issue with every slight change of direction, so maybe make it a tad more robust, but to be honest if you stayed around 7000 feet then you had plenty of time to change the flaps to 'take-off' mode and then recover...
nice graphics.......
but the rest is....
as many people already pointed out the physics and everything else is just stupid
MINIMAL changes in flight vector will let your Plane fall to the ground like stone... just like everybody else i know how basic aerodynamics work and this is definetely not IT
My best guess is that the developers tried to program a good physic engline but failed and put the game up anyway...
I so wanted to play this...
But just about everything is wrong,
The physics is all wrong, you can't lose speed like that, the stall system is laughable, no one can complete a mission because if you try to land the plane thinks oh i should stall now and crashes, if you release the throttle the plane stalls and crashes, if you climb up you stall and crash, why is there an eject button next to the keys you usually use so hmm I'll release the landing gear to start a land oops I've ejected and crashed and died.
besides physics the other glaring faults are
If you want to know what going on in a mission you have to wait 4 minutes to read what to do,
The instructions don't tell you that H kills you Its just the button H
You can't slow don you are either at 672 (whatevers) or you have crashed and died or you are on the runway.
In Summary:
If you want to play a game where you stall crash and die this is a game for you to play.
