Reviews for "DOOM Complete Soundboard v.2"

good game but you need more in the game

you need to add names to them and i know them all because i play doom doom2 and doom 3 every day

This owns.

I think there's two different pain sounds for most of the monsters though.

The baron death is the coolest SFX ever.

ELEVENT responds:

I thought that too. Sadly I was disappointed.

GREAT!

Although I miss one sound: When Mancubus is attacking he roars in a way that wasn't recorded. And since i really like that sound you get 9 instead of 10.. But I also give it 5/5. Because!

Nice.

Clean and nice.

As for the head on the stick, it says "To win the game, you have to kill me, John Romero" but it is backwards and the pitch is a little messed up. It came out of a couple jokes by the programmers.

Cool

I think that this was done pretty well. I remember back when I bought myself a copy of Doom 2. At the time, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. When Doom 1 was released, it was considered ground breaking.

It may be hard to imagine now, since far superior video game engines have sine been released. However, when compared to the likes of Wolf 3D (another good game), and even ROTT, it's far more advanced.

Helios, you asked what is said for the "Alert" sound that the final Boss makes. Here's how to find out. Next time you play it, record it in Sound Recorder, something nearly every Windows installation has. Or you can use your own sound editing software, although it requires nothing fancy.

In Sound Recorder, you will then want to use the "Reverse" option to play the newly recorded sound backwards. If you do that with the Boss Guy's sound, you hear something like "To win the game you must kill me. John Romero."
