Congratulations on making this interactive work. It was enjoyable from the start to the finish and merits a high score. I use the words work of art very seldom but
it was a work that touches the soul. The music complimented this perfectly and I thought adding the violinist and cellist was a nice touch. Well done.
great atmosphere and feeling
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the three clips. The old-time style of the piece (the jumping and scratch lines) worked well in this case. It seems often that that can be used by people to get "easy points" and then it gets in the way as a gimmick but I believe you pulled it off well. It never bothered me and I do believe it added to the mood successfully to make things feel more hand drawn and animated. I have actually used a super-8 camera on a table stand to do hand drawn animations many years ago so I was drawn to this piece to see what it was about.
Of the three pieces I found 'fear' to be the most emotive though I enjoyed them all. I believe the 'fear' piece combined with the violin music made it particularly powerful as I usually get chills when listening to violin compositions of similar style.
Were these animations rotoscoped? I am just curious. I realize either way that the animations presented take skill to pull off but I am curious about people's processes that is all.

the animation was jumpy but that was intentional, its normally very hard to get that old film sort of feeling but you pulled it off, and your 3d rotation was nearly flawless, nice work

1.) Presentation - I thought the use of dragging the film into the projection was creative and original. It corresponds with your overall theme of Super Cinema 8. Also, by allowing the user to choose which film to watch, they pick their own mood - the mood being established by Hope, or fear for example.
2.) Style - The artwork fit the music choice for me, or vice versa depending on how one thinks. In "Fear" i did notice the same animation was used quite repetitively and perhaps a bit more of a difference could have made the piece more dynamic, but it was successful in either case.
3.) Animation - I thought it was very good. Rotating around an object is not easy, frame by frame. I thought you captured that very well. I also thought the running man, and the running dog was realistic movement and speed. Keep going with that.
Overall, I think this is the caliber of animation that most should strive to achieve. It's a level that should be breached, meaning you could certainly get better, but this is a great spot to be in and I hope you continue to create works because I think you are very creative and artistic. 5/5 and 10/10, thank you for inspiration.
