Reviews for "3D Fighting:Bloody Rage 2"

Not bad, but...

Any fighting game that utilizes only one button to perform attacks, needs some serious improvement...

Made me laugh

Only in this game can you go toe to toe with Scorpion only to go on to trade Hadukens with Tupac. I gave up when I got to Chuck Norris. I can't say that this is a good game in the 3-D world, but it's nice to see that ability come to flash. I would touch up the animation and physics, make it so you get damaged from blocking (if ever so slight so that the fighter can't just sit there and block forever), and set up some unique character move-sets.

Also, was there some reason the directional buttons weren't the usual WASD? Just thought that was interesting.

That all aside, I still give you props for making a 3-D game in flash. Very intriguing.

Good, but...

Well, an excellent flash based fighting game, however i have some quarrels. The voicing is extremely poor, especially when every move spidey has is followed by "wowzers" (Lets remember he's spider-man not fucking inspector gadget) also, there was really no diversity in the moves. Why can everyone do hadokens, why don't each character have their own personalized moves? I know it may seem like I'm asking a lot from a simple game, but i feel that without diversity in a fighting game its just bland and boring. Even some of the simplest flash based fighting games had sets of different animated moves for its characters. Hopefully the sequel to this fixes these problems

Meh

Like this game was okay at the most. Yeah it had its ups and downs.
Its ups: Great Graphics, love the preloaded characters, and love the whole pain your character/customize your character bit

Its downs: WAYYY too repetitive, VERY small list of attacks, lacks some playability due to its repetiveness so you feel like closing the browser after the first time you beat someone. I dunno, just not my kind of thing I guess.

Well I'll give you some props for the originality, and the graphics, so 3 Todd's, and 6 stars. Good luck with the official release, I'll be looking for custom moves per player if that's too much to ask.

Well

I wanted a sequel. I got a sequel.

I'll be honest; I don't like it. Oh sure, what say do I have, you don't see me making any games or anything. But seriously; Bloody Rage was one of the best, earliest fighting games I ever played. It allowed me to create a fighter OR use well-known characters in pop culture to fight. Sure, everyone had the same moves and there were other games that could easily be seen as better. But Bloody Rage had a place in my heart.

Now I commend (NOT condemn) you for making things interesting in the long-awaited sequel. It's in 3D, and there are new characters (as well as people I don't quite recognize yet. I wish there were names to go along with them). But overall the game seems worse than the original. I know what I'm playing is BETA, but overall it feels like it shouldn't even be released yet. It's far too slow, and there seem to be fewer moves than in the original.

I will await the completed game though, and hope one day I can make a game just as fun as Bloody Rage. Until then, dude, keep going strong.
