Very good drawings. At first when i saw the elevator move without the "leave-behinds" i thought this was a flash animation with many filters.
But at the end it could have been as posible if you used a piece of paper for those.

Definitely original. I loved the way you used the concept of leaving all past positions to show movement, but then how you used pencil to make things appear to be moving without showing where they had previously been positioned. (the cannon)
