A save button wouldn't be bad, also I agree with Zeladar, weapon upgrades will be better. Great game anyway
Reviews for "Days 2 Die"
Fun, but a few suggestions.
I was preparing to write my review when I saw all the other reviews. It seems we all see the game the same way. The game was well done, but got repetitive quickly and had very few "Defensible spots". Having said that, I had a lot of fun with it for a little while.
Suggestions:
1. Add more barricades or add more places that have a tactical advantage.
2. Re-do your melee weapons to be effective in some way late game.
3. Either reduce the price of mercs or make them more effective. I found a huge gap in the cost/value ratio for mercs. They just weren't worth the money.
4. Vary the weapons a bit more. You had several weapons that were similar, which is good for looks, but bad for actually feeling stronger.
Anyway. The game is mostly great as is and that earns you a 9.
(btw is it just me or did the main char remind anyone of Jill valentine?)
It was a good game all around.
I got to lvl 5 before I died. Let's see if I can help.
1st level:
Use two bookcases to barricade each side of the middle room and shoot the zombies as they show up. If you're at one end and zombies are at the other then shoot off screen because everything will hit...mostly.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th levels:
Find a spot where zombies will spawn at only one side...so find a dead end somewhere and buy the strongest wall you can. Just stand by that wall and keep E held down while shooting the zombies. They can't hit you, but you can hit them. You should have the M16 by the end of lvl 2 or at the very latest lvl 3. You NEED a merc for lvl 4 or you will die. I used the girl worth 20k with the AK47 and she worked quite nicely.
lvl 5:
If you can afford it then buy a 2nd merc. There are no dead ends in this lvl and you need two barricades, one at either side of you and your mercs. I died before the first wave in the level finished.

problems with the reloading of the grenade gun
The auto reload doesn't work properly for the grenade launcher. When the 'r' key is used you can't click while the gun is reloading or there is a glitch and the gun doesn't reload.
The game was fun, there just wasn't enough things to buy. Good job!
Great Game
I like it but when I saw the big guys...I GOT OWNED! There a bit tough is all but other that its a great game.
