Reviews for "Fear Unlimited Issue2"

I'm trying... Honestly.

I'm trying, honestly trying to like this game.

You have alot going for it. The style, the path and the concept seem to be solid. There are elements in this which I would say look very professional.

I can't say I like the controls nor can I say you can customize them to your liking. Since I do tend to use the numberpad if customisation is available I can't regard it as that. But it isn't terrible. It's playable... Until you actually play it.

The biggest flaw of the whole game is the physics you've invoked. It's not that they have a minsd of their own but they tend to be a thorn when playing. The sword moves can go through the enemies. Whilst in sword moves, if the enemy is behind you, there's a humungous delay before you can turn around to attack them and if you decide to attack again before the delay is over you still stay facing the opposing way. The boundaries are a nightmare to figure out where your enemy is, if their dead or glitches at times when you're dropping to the ground leaving you vulnerable in the process.

The guns don't seem to hold much weight besides it keeping your combo bar from dropping and switching weapons. even with these controls seems cumbersome.

... And although I haven't managed to get passed the 1st mission (Yes, the first) I've been trying to do it so 3 hours with nothing to show for it. I'm telling you that's how BAD the actual gameplay is for me to get anything out besides a bad taste in my mouth and I'm sure others are erked the same way too.

I hope it's just me and I'm the exception but the gameplay is beyond my understanding. Everything else gives you an incentive to find out more only to faulter at the core.

I'll keep on trying still to try and understand the ethic of gameplay you intended. But for what it's worth I have tried and have not been convinced.

cool

awesome game man but did u hav to make the bosses healths so freaken high i mean im hacking the chick with my swords a 100 times which were upgraded to level 4 n only 2 bars were gone out of 12-13 n she slashes me once n a third of my health is gone

Heh.

Challenging =/= Shoddy controls, pointlessly long levels, poor construction.

This game isn't great. A game being difficult due to taking hours to beat several levels, and being hard to operate doesn't make it a "challenging" game in the sense it's fun and what's considered a good game.. I bet most of the reviews played about 10 minutes and then quit to review.

Difference between a lack of skill and playing a shitty game.

Great but too many glitches..

This game is very intense and challenging. But there is too many glitches..

Good game buuuut

Congrats on the good game, it is fun to play and a nice tribute to DMC but, there is one major but. There is a really big difference to making a tribute to DMC and making a good tribute. The game is fun and good, yet there are is a lack of difficult to complete combo's in my opinion. If you look at the first DMC - the best one imo - you notice there are easy to execute combo's and the harder ones. The harder ones in that game would give you significantly more points if executed properly in comparison to the simpler ones. Where as in your tribute button bashing the D button in combination with X for switching weapons seemed to get you up to A++ in a jiffy.
So it's a good game but the dificulty on getting a good multiplier is too easy in my opinion. Apart from that you get a 5/5 9/10. Good job, as a fan of DMC I'm really happy to see these kind of works.
