stupid

the levels were stupid, especially lvl 2. wasn't fun or creative, it's basically a lame version of echochrome.

I wonderful Idea

Combining the illusion of 3d, real 3d, and 2d illlusions all in one. Plenty to build on, I think that once this gets perfected you will have a very nice game here :D. One thing you can do is allow various objects in the environment to interact with eachother. Right now you just have the nvironment interacting with the character. Making your character mobile would work too, and having the goal be some place that would be impossible to reach. A storyline is also needed to make this effective. Study famous and well made games and how their menus are set up, how they introduce you to the game play, and how they break up the game play. It is an art, and its all about being user friendly. Good luck with this game :)

gets agravating fast though...

the concept is amazing. i love the idea. but got me frustrated fairly fast. but worth a look for sure.

great idea, one suggestion

I know it's experimental, so I'll just leave with one suggestion.
Because it's using perspective to position the camera, sometimes when the objects are reached, it happens near the edge or outside of the "camera," and we're left (or at least me) to wonder what's happening cus we can't see the thing
So I suggest when we're done with the level, the camera will automatically focus on the character, so we can see what's going on.

good idea. i like it alot

needs work

the levels need more structure, and they shouldn't be so linear

they just seem like random pictures, you need more indication as to what you can interact with.

and the levels need to be more complex and have multiple paths/solutions. it just seemed like i moved the camera into one position and then the rest of the level was done for me

and the camera felt way too slow, maybe have a button that speeds it up

there's a lot of ways you could improve this but i think they're what you should focus on to begin with

did you get inspiration for this from echochrome? ^^

turtlesoup4290 responds:

people keep saying that. but id nver even herd of echochrome till now :/
