Too bad it doesn't work, but thanks for the kind words anyway!

Cool song you got here! I've listened to a few of your songs before and not much has changed since last time: you still use this really interestingly unique style of arranging these songs. You tend to do a very progressive style which is really cool actually, and you did a fantastic job of it here. As for some suggestions on improvements, I honestly don't know much about complextro but from what I'm making of it from the song, it's just electro that transitions between different themes or sounds frequently. Anyways so first thing, I really liked the extra part with the moving notes that comes in around 1:14, however if you could add that type of lead in future songs as a variant. For example, in this song, it sounds like you're keeping it at a 4/4 time (or 2/4), what I'm suggesting is to add another layer of moving notes in a slightly different key to give a much more interesting sound (maybe 6/8?). The other thing is that I noticed how your style largely follows along contrasting sounds/themes. For example, in this song you've made mood transitions between bright, intense, and (kinda) ambient themes throughout. Now what I'm thinking might be neat is to maybe take this to the next level. I've kinda already noticed it in this song where you go from electro into kind of an ambient feel for a short time. I'm thinking do more of that, give some purely raw, intense sounds to match those more intense, faster paced moods then to change into electro for the brighter moods, then to ambient or however. It's just to follow along with how the song mood progresses in order to bring out a more intriguing sound. Anyways, those are just suggestions, you can completely disregard them if you want. Anyways, fantastic job on the song! looking forward to what you come up with next

Indigorain responds:

Wow! first of all thanks a lot for the kind words! :D

And I think I get what you mean with the rhythmic variation, I might try to do something with that.
As for the bright/dark balance, I think you mean the breakdowns where it get's more quiet. I always use breakdowns, but (even more recently) I don't really like 'raw' sounds that much anymore. I'm focusing on melodies and the composition itself a lot more rather than looking for the hardest and rawest sound.

Still, I love the review, I really appreciate it. I'm really curious about what you think of my next projects. Thanks a lot!

And by the way, the 'frequently-transitioning electro' is practically complextro. It's just that in it's origins those transitions were bass-focused only. :]

This was honestly an amazing song. You should try to find a label or something. Also, for the bass what VST did you use? I'm assuming Sylenth1 or Massive right?

Indigorain responds:

Thanks man! I'm not planning to get signed, I'm too lazy, and I'm too busy with my study.
And yes, I use Sylenth1 for all of my synths :D
Thanks again, much appreciated!
