Reviews for "Hex Empire"

Hex is a very fun, strategic game.

I love these Risk-type games and Hex Empire is definitely one of the best. The only thing I'd add is a notification when your ally breaks the pact. There should be a few turns wait before you can attack each other.

I discovered this game years ago and i have been coming back to it since then. It isn´t excellent but sura as hell is great, i love how even if you choose hard difficulty you can still choose a harder one by choosing a capital with no cities arround (cities provide a tactical advantage, meaning that when your armies spawn you are closer to the enemy), if you play with that kind of capital the armies you send to conquer will be weaker than the enemies armies.
I didn´t find any bugs and it´s pretty fast so there is only one thing i can say:
Hex Empire, you are flawless, you are flawless and i love you.
The second game is bad!

Nice little strategy game. I don't think it's a very accurate simulation of war, but then, neither is Risk. The only improvement I would suggest is that it would help immensely if you had some kind of indication on the map of which cities spawned new recruits. In the endgame, the biggest challenge for me was moving tanks out of my recruit cities so that new recruits could spawn, and just having the new troops blink momentarily didn't allow me to see all of the recruitment cities at any given time. It would've been helpful if the cities had been a different color or something like that.

I have seen this game on other websites, and as soon as I saw this game, I knew I had to review it.
What to say about this game...
I really enjoy how you can group up units, and how morale is a factor in this game. I also love how you can easily choose from a large selection of maps. If I had to improve it, I would make it possible to:
A) Edit and create levels of your own to make the game easier or harder for you.
and/or
B)Make the peace offers infinite. Having a one time boost for morale makes sense, but limited peace offerings does not. This could actually make players use different strategies for dealing with enemies, like making peace with two enemies and attacking the third, then breaking one alliance when you can afford to, and attacking them.
I would love to give this 5 stars, and this was my actual vote. However, since I made a suggestion it's my policy to never give the highest rating. Of course, if even one of these were fixed, I believe I could easily give a full 5 stars.
