This is just all around...good plain fun

I haven't played a game this refreshing in some time. You really just blew me away with everything from the visual style and puzzle design down to the story and peripheral interesting stuff, like the spam blocker e-mails.

I haven't finished the game, but I'm on the second chapter as I write this and I love what I see so far. I haven't encountered any bugs yet, which is a huge plus.

The game looks great, but I have a small gripe about the graphics, which is they can be a bit stressful on the eyes at times. Had you included an option for switching the background off or at least to stop animating it, this game would be near perfect.

The sound is simple, but does the job and isn't in the way. Not much else to say about that. I'm not a big sound guy.

You really grabbed me on the story. So far it's surprisingly compelling. The characters feel right, even through text, and I really get the feeling I'm in an underground movement of some sort.

Your puzzle design...is wonderful. I've noticed others say some later puzzles are easier than those early on and I do have to agree, but overall they are each a unique challenge, even though they might not be scaled perfectly. I don't know anything about hacking into systems, so I can't say whether or not they were accurate representations of hacking, but I really didn't expect that.

My greatest gripe with this game is going to be the interface design. I had no problem with the way the puzzles looked or performed, but I always had the feeling I was going somewhere as my character, not sitting at my computer the whole time. I think you missed an opportunity to convey that feeling somewhere in your interface design, especially the parts that looked like maps. I suddenly felt like I was moving from my emails on the computer to somewhere else, possibly a terminal in the are represented by the map. I understand why you did it this way, but I would have preferred a more realistic interface.

In any case, this game blew me away. I cannot wait for the next installment of this or any game you decide to make next. Keep up the good work.

Excellent

It's startling how simple the concept of the game is, and how few types of objects there are, yet it is still so engaging. 10/10!

good

Beat it 100%. Some later levels seemed easyer than the early levels. But its still fun.

good

but dangerously boring
