Polished and professional

An excellent game, very polished and stylish - the old school sprite style worked really well, and the sound just as good. The music was plinky and charming and the sounds worked perfectly with the action, especially the echo in the knights' voice. Gameplay is tight and very difficult, but very rewarding, I just wish there were a few more options for gameplay, like maybe some special power for randomizing bricks as they tend to collect in a heap and make your life extremely difficult after about 10 moves (if you're a novice like me.) A unique and well designed take on the puzzle/rpg genre, one of the most intriguing games I've ever seen on Newgrounds. :)

I dont really get it

Whats the point of this game again? I played for 3 levels and its just like every other brick break game. What do i do to get the slime monsters or the door and keys to work...Wtf?

Ok, here goes...

You are the knight
On each stage you must collect the key to open the door - if you're playing the Purgatory Quest then the door opens once you've killed the number of enemies that is written on the door
You can rotate the board and clear groups of blocks to manoeuvre the knight to where you want him to go
To kill enemies, position the knight above one of them and then clear the blocks above their head to make the knight fall on to them and kill them

I'm sure you can figure the rest of it out. :-)

People should be kicked off of the scoreboards...

I'm sorry about the people who are hacking the scoreboards, but there's little we can do to stop them apart from deleting their scores and banning them. If you find out who they are then I will personally pay them a visit and beat them to death with a big stick! Sorry about those idiots but we hope that it won't spoil your enjoyment of the game too much. :-)
