Good Concept, but......
First thing you have a pretty good idea going for you, needs some improvement on the way you race or fight. How can people face bugs with 5 times the strength or speed your bugs have. Should implement a training system that's how it is done with Hercules Beatles you tie them to a rock and let them pull it makes them stronger, or let your bugs fight or race each other. And as others have said need to slow the happiness, hunger and health decreasing rate at least by half. I liked it personally so keep it up and i look forward to part 2.
Complex but rewarding.
So, l write this review after 3-4 hours of play, just to say that l didn't close the game after the first 5 minutes...
I have to say, it is a very smart concept but it needs some work.
The bugs are quite cool and l managed to make buckloads of money and to breed the almost-ultimate bug (l didn't finish the game, but l will).
The most annoying this with this game is that you have to constantly drag your bugs onto the apples, and this is pretty much it.
Oh yeah, and there are also not-very-useful toys and some other fruits and drugs.
But the part where it gets fun is the racing and the fighting, even if the fighting is not a very good idea because usually your bugs will die when just losing a race will cost you some money and that's it.
I did find this game fun (and thank god there is an autosave feature), but it should be faster, and l don't mean that speed button...
Oh, and the piano version on Numb (not Encore, as many users say) was great, but hearing it 150 times in a row may get tiring.
So good job, and good luck with the next monster-breeding game (yeah you heard me, l want aliens or monsters nect time)!

I have to admit when i read the short description on the front page i laughed and thought "ok this has to be retarded as all hell" but then Darkfall queue was taking forever so i gave it a shot and im not wishing i had that part of my life back. This was fun, and entertaining. At first the bug pyramid is confusing with all the lines and such but when i finally got it it took about 30 minutes from a fresh game to get the ultimate bug again. Anyway 8/10 because i'm not sure what to do about it but the bug fights could have been more exciting.
