Reviews for "Rubik's Cube Beta"

Wow.

Damn, now it's in digital form! Run!
You can't even peel the stickers off of this one!

I love it. I lost my childhood to this damned thing.

AdamYoung27 responds:

Glad you liked it! If you want to download it, download and install RealPlayer 11 and after installing it right click anywhere on the game screen and then click "Download to Real Player" Then right click on the RealPlayer link to play the file and move it where you want to. This is the only site I have uploaded it to so far, but I plan to put it on more sites later on. I'm surprised you gave me a 10! I was 14 when I made this and am now 15.

this is neat!

man,i may not be good with Rubik's cube but i sure luv it! (:

Very good

I love the simplicity of the animation. Just a suggestion. You could try adding a background music. Keep it as an option for those who want to hear it or keep it muted.

Just my opinion because it takes a really long time for some people to solve the cube and annoyance levels increase at times...music would soothe them a bit :P
Well, atleast it would calm me down...

AdamYoung27 responds:

I tried putting music in the game, but for some reason when I published the SWF, the music did not get in the file no matter what I tried, so this is all you get until I make the alpha version, which might take some time since I don't use Flash that often.

Good idea...

Great concept (Well, anything that saves me a trip to the store and a couple bucks is a good concept in my books) and easy to play. I also liked how you added an easy mode in there where you can see the moves being made. The speed is way too slow and you need to be able to actually rotate the entire cube to see what's on the back. Other than that though, great job for a beta, just make sure the final submission fixes those problems.

AdamYoung27 responds:

You can rotate the cube. Just hold the left mouse button down on the background and move the mouse while you are holding the button. The cube will rotate in the direction you move the mouse.

Very, Very good

The figuring out of the controls actually gave it a little spice, as it made the already difficult rubix cube even harder, thus giving more challenge :). This is very neat, and I'll tell all my friends to "attempt" to add this to the gadget section

AdamYoung27 responds:

Thanks. Glad you liked it! I want more people to play this! Please download this using the current version of RealPlayer and put it on as many sites as you want as long as you tell the viewers that AdamYoung27 made this game! I insist!
