Reviews for "Nightmare City"

Wow, I guess I never was logged in when I listened to this, I haven't reviewed it.

This is by far my favorite song of yours. The glissandos do give this song a lot of charm, and they're practically everywhere, but they don't sound gimmicky.

My favorite part was the piano undertones. It sounds real, and it's composed wonderfully to compliment the electronic aspects of the song. The biggest drawback is that is sounds rather flat when it plays. It needs more life, somewhere in the dynamics or accents, along those lines.

I was really drawn in by the progressive feel throughout this piece. Though the instrumentation drops out occasionally, the chord progression and variance in the melody feel like it's building up to something.

In the end, I give this a 4.5, as this is very well composed, but isn't quite at the level of what it could be. Oh, just a side note, I don't see anything wrong with the actual mixing, as it all compliments the mood and tone of the song. My biggest suggestion here would be cleaner drums, more acoustic.

It's definitely got a "spooky-esque" tune to it, though perhaps a bit more lively or upbeat than a nightmare would sound like.

Some of the mixing sounds a little rough, not as smooth as it could be, I.E. some instruments take over compared to the others, though that could have been choice on your part.

Great song ^_^

I love the way it's going, it sounds great, but I don't like how the pace slows at 1:19. That's just me though.

Really nice and rich composition you've got here!

I like its "Dracul-quantized" feeling (that's my personal way to describe this)

Keep it up (y)
