The style...
somethings not right it doesn't look all pixel like there seem to have traces of other media it's definitely not pure pixel well at least it's a nice short collaboration of what these guys can do

it was definitely good
there are some pretty harsh reviews down there and I dont see why they disliked this video so much. I definitely liked the style of a lot of the scenes. However some of the artists seemed to just make sloppy drawings of characters instead of actual pixelated drawiings. My two favorite scenes were definitely the really short bit with the car driving toward the screen as that car looked really great and the second is the cloaked figure who jumps around the top of the bulding becasue that looked real cool.
i also really liked the metropolis song you all did a good job making an animation that fit with the music
Multiple problems...
I had multiple problems with this movie. Not technical, just overall.
The music was good, but ultimately repetitive, and belongs in an 8-bit game, not in a submission such as this.
One of the problems with the overall design of this was that everything had to be in a pixellated format. An original idea, but poorly implemented. It seemed as if no one knew whether it was 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit.
Another problem was that although the theme of this was pixels, it seemed as if many artists simply made their submission, and used an automated tool to convert it to pixels, which looks fake and tackey.
So there. 4/5.
Like it!
Not quite worth 10, but the animation went with the music very well. Dang, the music sounds like it's right out of Megaman. Props for that too!
Good jawb
haha! That was awesome when that b-52 just came in and blew everything up. I lol'd. This was fun to watch. Not a bad animation.
