Simple, but effective
A very simple style, yet it get's the point across easily and effectively. The style looks like it was from paper cutouts, and that's something you don't really see too often.
I'm glad this wasn't a comedy, since I rather like how the ending turned out. If it was a comedy ending, the ending would have been completely different and while I'm sure it would have been fairly funny, I think I'd prefer a serious kinda thing for something like this.
Also, the song choice was very nice since it was soft and relaxing. I dunno if the words were actually fitting with what were going on, but the fact the melody fit with the animation is good enough for me to enjoy it. Also, even though there's a lack of other sounds, this is one of the animations that just doesn't need those.
