gah

hate level 7. cant do thsi square bs
good game but i've seen it many times before.

not original

Ive seen htis game already on newgrounds... another version of it. You just made it look different...
But indeed.. a 6 because of the looks you improved

Fun, unoriginal.

Seen this game a couple times, this is more senic, i personally like the "you get what you draw" type ones, i like this type of game tho, therefor, 6.

Good, but...

The concept is sound, but the interface is infuriating! Some issues I ran into:

1. The pieces you draw are randomly colored. In the later levels, the piece colors would often be very close to the background color, making them very difficult to see. When the background is light, the colors should be dark, and vice versa.

2. The "auto-correct" feature for shapes, where the game tried to guess what shape I "really" wanted, often massively mis-guessed (especially with triangles and bars, which ended up as half-circles and spikes a lot of the time), ruining whatever contraption I was trying to build. I think it'd be better no have no auto-correct at all, or at least allow the player to turn it off.

3. The physics for the boulder on level 23 were awful. For instance, drawn pieces would often fall inside the boulder and then couldn't be interacted with. Putting pieces under the boulder would make it kind of slide around (although not really in ways that were useful). That level took me by far the longest time to solve just because of the wonky physics.

4. It's not clear where the "pointer" for the eraser tool is; I found it very difficult to consistently erase things with it, especially things that were in motion.

It would be nice if the level would start frozen while you drew your stuff, and then you could unfreeze it and watch things work (or not). What'd be REALLY nice is if, after an unsuccessful run, everything you drew would reset so you could adjust things without having to draw everything all over again. That may be getting too far away from the "spirit" of the game, but still, it'd remove a lot of needless frustration.

For the record, I did complete the game. For those of you having trouble, one hint that might help you is, you can attach pins and hinges to your circle. This is not at all obvious from the tutorial, which left me, at least, under the impression that you were always supposed to just knock your ball around to get to the flags.

AleGui responds:

You re giving me too much credit. The "auto-correct" feature is not a feature at all.
It's just that I wasnt able to program concave shapes, so you can only draw convex shapes. Thus your concave shapes turn into convex ones.

Btw that boulder was a pain in the ass, it just wouldnt cooperate.

you really have to fix the collision resolution

I was able to solve a lot of the later levels with just one or two shapes by abusing how collision resolution was done. This problem was also in the first version of this game. For example, the last level in the first game could be solved just by drawing a single rectangle around the entire screen connected to the ball.

Also, the wind thing just makes everything way too easy.
