Not exciting, just annoying.
The visuals were very uneasy on the eye, which automatically kills a game. There are other ways to make a game EXTREME but won't give you a headache. And the music was kinda lame, run of the mill techno, which (along with the flash playability) looks like it came straight from 1997. Yuck.
Great game... but....
That was insanely fun, however, a few of the background animations severely slowed my computer down, so that aevery few seconds i wouldn;t be able to move the paddle acurately.
I could barely get past the first boss thatnks to that... Put in a quality control, or those of us cursed with shit computers can only play the first bit of the game....
Other than that the game was excellent
Great Idea
This was actually pretty entertaining; it's strangely cathartic to see/hear the guys get bludgeoned to death and the ball getting bloodied is a nice touch. However, the flashing lights, animated backgrounds, and pop-up text make it not only obnoxious to look at, but also rather hard to find the ball. This, compounded with the bizarre physics adds a level of difficulty that shouldn't be there. EmperorGriffon's right, the ball only travels in 45-degree angels which is not only unrealistic, but causes some cheap deaths when you can't possibly stop it because it's at the end of the screen and you can't reach it because it didn't bounce properly. Also, the music is downright obnoxious--seriously, I'd rather turn off my speakers and play the game in silence than listen to that.
Pretty Cool
This game is pretty sweet, but my gripe is the ball always flies off at 45 degree angles, not the actual angle it should go at in classic breakout.
