Reviews for "WALL-E & R.O.B."

Great Movie

That is outstanding for your first stop motion, that's almost unreal.
As blurkiller said, Wall-E's curiosity brings the story to life without a doubt. The pairing of R.O.B. has it's own level of awesome to it as well. This was great i enjoyed it, i'm going to watch it a few more times.

enjoyable

For a first time stop-motion film, this is quite amazing.
Even though the plots are very simple, it certainly grabs attention.

What the problem is, as some people might have mentioned, the frame rate.
Overall, it was ok. I can almost feel that Wall-E is moving around rather than teleporting from places to places.

The choices of characters are good. All the characters in this movie is well known, so it would be easier for us to engage the movie subconsciencely.

The use of the character was very well done. Wall-E's personality of curiosity has made this movie shine. Though some sounds that Wall-e makes added to the movie would have been terrific, but its fine.

The use of simplicity has been well used. Some people say the movie is too simple or too short. But what you've aimed for was a short movie about Wall-e and R.O.B. which is totally fine. Although we know that the movie is very simple, it would've been nice why Wall-e was tampering with ROB. (eg. why was wall-e bored, etc.)

The sound effects and the visual effects were ok. Needs a little work on the laser part. The sound effect was ok. Only thing that i would have wished for was wall-e's voice. I mean, the whole focus is about Wall-e getting his curiosity on and running away in fear from ROB. Sound effects are the most important part to consider. such as dialogues, are most important because they are the things that bring out the true emotion of the movie. Of course the visual effect would be important since the movie is about "watching" but things like dialogues or sound effects adds and creates emotions and brings the true color of the movie.

Nice use of the soundtrack "Wall-E" from OST. The music truly adds to the color of Wall-E, who is always curious.

Compared to the professional stop-motion movie, this is quite far from good. But this is a good example of what the a movie should be because: 1. the good use of the character's personality, 2. using a simple plot to make a movie enjoyable, rather than just a random clip about Wall-E making boxes.

you did this amazingly!!!

you even made the doll move like the actual character.
it was really cool and fun to watch! please make more for us!

First stop motion?

So this is your first stop motion? Okay then!

Well, to start off...
It was pretty simple and fun looking stop motion. I liked the laser effects that came from R.O.B's eyes, but... They just seemed to be some short blinks of light rather than actual laser shots.

The idea was simple, just Wall-E messing with R.O.B until he gets pissed and starts chasing, yeah. Nothing complex. Just simple idea with a simple ending aswell.

Audio track was nothing special either, just existing lines from the Wall-E movie and other sound effects.

Okay... Now to constructive feedback with the animation...
As an ex-animator in claymotion and stop motion, I have to say that you could have taken more frames of movement with your camera, because at times it looked that everything was all jumpy and hasty. It's the usual thing to happen to new comers to stop motion and I can relate to that aswell. If you take a lot more frames, the video can be put in to a simple video editing program so you can adjust the frames per second rate look nice and overall result is a lot better.

So...
In overall, this is simple, nothing new, but pretty good looking first try at stop motion.

Animation: 4
Audio: 5

Overall: 4

Just try harder next time you do a stop motion, ok?

Well done!

I enjoyed this very much. I like the fact you used the old gameboy as the platform, and the new DS games as the "junk" Wall-e used for the toss. Are we trying to say something here?

Oh, and NoodleCream, go someplace else. Your kind is not appreciated here.
