You want my advice? Okay, here goes:
1.Draw. Draw a lot. Draw like your life depended on it but keep that shit for yourself; Doodles and Sketches don't belong in Galleries.
2.Copy Great Art, borrow and steal ideas that came from great art. By copying great art you learn how to do it, and most great art ideas have been made. Even if you try to be "original" be certain that there's load of peeps out there with the same idea.
3.Compare your work to similar art. Look for flaws, and when you find your flaws, go to step 1.
