I never liked Disney even as a kid. But Mickey is of course iconic of a whitewashed puritan good time, and I think you really picked a good medium for ironic social commentary. Actually, the thing I was thinking about through this whole movie was whether I'd have the courage to go on the block so my girl wouldn't have to, if it came to that. You're a brave man, Mickey Mouse.
