A Fantasia!? A Steam Boat Willy?!
I laughed inside and I hate myself for it. The references were tops. Animation was good and I laughed and died a little inside. Can I have that piece of my soul back now?
Choo choo!
It is sort of sad too see Mickey like this.. But also kind of fun, too see what would happen if his world would turn to dust. That voice is juts soo.. spot on, in a odd way.
"Activity"
This animation in many ways answers all the same questions that it raises. It's an icky, yet pretty hilarious look at what happens when a toon wants to outlive his previous fame and tries to survive the harsh world without stardom.
Poor Mickey and faithful Pluto are facing the decrepit streets of Toon Town with not but their sexual services to make ends meet. It's the harshest, darkest, and at the same time most humorous modern expression of Disney's existence in the depraved world of animated adventure.
It's a satiric piece that insists one to ask the question. "Why?" Try not to chuckle when watching Mickey proposition a regular in the red light district, or you'll end up hating yourself. Still, it was an interesting few minutes. 6 for bringing lovable Disney characters down in the mud, and making me laugh while doing so.
