First of all, 7/10 is generous for this. I don't know how it got front page. A lot of the animation was wonderful, some of it I thought was half-assed. I would've given it a MUCH better score (9 or 10) but the song you picked to go with it? It made me want to throw up. I watched the whole thing because I wanted to see all the animation, but it was so difficult to sit through because the song was driving me INSANE. NOTHING ABOUT THAT SONG HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH LOVE. The song may be ABOUT love, but there's no EMOTION behind it to back it up (because songs like that are NOT WRITTEN to instill FEELINGS in people, they are PRODUCED to make PROFIT), and since love is all about emotion, songs like that have no leg to stand on, especially coupled with an animation like this. And the other gripe I had with this...The way many of the artists portrayed love is so contrived. It's like how Disney takes a bunch of old fairy tales (often grim or melancholy), and sugar-coats them for the masses. This was like...Love, Disney-style. And I didn't know it was going to be a music video. Maybe you guys should ACTUALLY STATE THAT IN THE DESCRIPTION! I expected a romantic, touching story of two lovers. Instead I got drivel. VERY PRETTY drivel. Like I said, I really liked most of the animation, and as far as that goes, most of you are very talented, and I give you props for it. That's where all 7 out of the 10 stars came from. If I was rating it based on animation ALONE, it would have a 15/10, but unfortunately that's not the only substance it contains, and there are elements missing. But the OVERALL project, I'll compare to a polished turd. And maybe that's because it was a collab and the creativity of every author must be squandered in some way to make room for the creativity of every other author. And I understand that. But it makes me sad that this has a 'Current Score' of 4.31, whereas an animation like 'Bedtime' (front page as well) has a score of 4.11. And Bedtime, even though it's MUCH, MUCH shorter than this, is INFINITELY more touching, and its animation is just as fresh and unique. Go watch it.
